BASICS ABOUT US
We are AIESEC in Bulgaria, a youth leadership movement which is passionately driven by one cause: peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential. We are registered legally under the name NSAEE AIESEC-Bulgaria in the official bodies of Registry Agency under the UIC number 121165376. Our registered address is Sofia 1000, 10 Narodno sabranie sq. We comprise AIESEC in Bulgaria and also the 5 local committees across Bulgaria.
We are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our website visitors and/or customers and/or members. This policy explains how we process information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual (“personal data”): thus, this policy applies to the situations in which we act as data controller of personal data and explains when and why we collect personal information about individuals, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
COLLECTION AND USAGE OF PERSONAL DATA ABOUT YOU
The purposes of processing your personal data are
- to give you more relative opportunities for volunteer exchanges and professional internships abroad;
- to let us inform you of upcoming events of the organization as well as of our partners;
- to let us inform you of opportunities for internship and work positions in AIESEC partner organizations;
- for polls, surveys, and feedback – In addition, we use your personal information (e-mail address) to send invitations to participate in polls, surveys, and feedback. They are done anonymously unless you explicitly specify personal information in them. Only in these cases can answers be made about your personality;
- for participation in our host family program, volunteer exchanges,professional internships or membership program;
- for participation in our events, webinars, conferences, and similar;
and the legal basis for such activities is explicit consent. Personal data we process may include your full name, age, gender, e-mail and phone number, education level, where you study and what do you study, where do you live. Additionally if you decide to go abroad with AIESEC we collect personal information in order to get in a legal binding contract such as full name, passport number/ID number and date of issuing it, authority that issued it, personal identification number, and permanent address – where the legal basis for such activities is the contract.
We gather your personal data via online forms and our platforms or with physical forms.
RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA ABOUT YOU
We shall retain personal data for a period of five years.
RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA ABOUT YOU
We process your details internally. However, we may disclose information about you to partners of AIESEC which are currently in a legal contract with us so as to if you have participated in our events they know who they are meeting and propose opportunities to you.
We may transfer information about you to other AIESEC entities and partners for purposes connected with the ones mentioned in this privacy notice or for the management of our business.

Our website (www.aiesec.bg) run cookies and more specific google analytics for the purpose of statistics:
